Designer notes
This project is special to me and one of my favorites. The main reason - the clients fully trusted my vision. From the very beginning, I felt that I could create freely, without thinking about “safe” or boring solutions. The clients were open to ideas, colors, and unusual design accents, and this kind of collaboration is the most inspiring for me as a designer.
From the first conversations, I felt their mood and taste. I often have this - I just feel what suits a particular person or space, and here this feeling was very clear. The design developed organically, based on the clients’ character, lifestyle, and desire for a home with character.
The interior ideas are based on vibrant but balanced colors, combinations of warm materials, and visually interesting solutions. There is no boredom in the space - each zone has its own accent, yet overall the environment is soft, warm, and livable. Wood, textures, graphic patterns, and bold color tones complement each other, creating a harmonious and lively interior.
The clients themselves mentioned that they chose me specifically because they saw that I am not afraid to work with colors, liveliness, and unusual design solutions. This project is a good example of how bold design can be both aesthetic and very cozy.
In my opinion, an interior should not be neutral or boring - it should be personal, lively, and full of feeling, and the Laimdotas Street project fully embodies this.
Project details
The furniture was made of high-quality materials:
- Custom kitchen corner solution
- Corian worktop and wall panel
- Integrated built-in appliances (oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher)
- Modern LED lighting in kitchen and home office furniture
- Bathroom furniture customized for sinks
- Diverse use of BLUM mechanisms
