Designer’s comment
The project on Lāčplēša Street was implemented in 2025. Within 9 months, the apartment was completely renovated and improved, preserving its historical character and at the same time introducing modern functionality.
In collaboration with Camillo, several pieces of furniture were made - a kitchen with a counter, bathroom furniture, cabinets in the hallway and bedroom. After the first meeting and survey, drawings were developed and coordinated, followed by a careful selection of finishing materials to achieve a harmonious balance between the old and the new. The furniture was manufactured and installed on time, with high quality workmanship and attention to detail.
The goal was to create a contemporary environment in which the furniture organically fits into the historical spaces. A restrained color palette with natural tones was chosen so that the interior maintains a peaceful, sophisticated mood.
The result is a space where design is not just a visual solution, but a thoughtful, sustainable and comfortable environment for everyday use. This project proves that a respectful attitude towards the history of the building and high-quality modern solutions can coexist, creating a harmonious and sustainable living space.
Result
The kitchen space acquired a modern and warm character. The natural texture of the wood, the round shapes of the furniture harmonize with modern technologies, creating a comfortable environment for cooking and family gatherings.
